How to Increase Your Success Rate In ANY Area..

*** Disclaimer for people that need it: By reading this post, you won’t succeed; you have to take action yourself.

Ok, before you read this post, clap your hands and say “I am awesome!” I as in you, not me of course.

So…

I don’t tell this to many people but…When I was growing up; I was pretty slow on my intellectual side. I was never really that “smart” in the area of being a book smart person. So going thru middle school and high school; was pretty tough for me. This is something I struggled with growing up. I often asked God, “What is wrong with me?” Don’t get me wrong, I made very good grades and came at the top 15%; not because I was “smart” but because I worked very very hard.

Why am I telling you this? Read on…

You see all thru my life, my thought process has always been “How can I find the fastest way from point A to Z”. I was and still am extremely stubborn which I evolved into persistence. I won’t take no for answer if it’s something I myself can improve in.

Are you getting where I’m going with this? Ok, so because my learning process was different than what was being taught in school, I began to improve my weaknesses and strengthening my strengths.

Only till I realized later in college that I was more of hands on learner / street smart person. Knowing this gave me the ability to succeed at a faster rate.

When you know who you are, your strengths, and your weaknesses; you can further speed things up. If you are using your strengths, then there is no doubt that you will succeed at what you are doing.

You may fail, but sometimes to win; you have to lose.

Only until the last few years have I learned that some of the most successful business people I know in the Marketing Industry had the same problems. Most of them had some form of problems in school; their teachers thought they were stupid…but now are some of the most influential and successful people out there. Success can be anything. Influence or whatever. Even the world’s fastest reader, Howard Berg told me “Stephen, I was like you…I struggled in school, but I found a faster way around it”. I know a programmer named Rajesh who told me that his only education was 2nd grade, but he is one of the top programmers. He can do what it takes a team of programmers a month to do in a few days.

It wasn’t education that taught them, it was themselves.

That is why…you must know yourself very well, so you know if an opportunity is an opportunity or if it’s just going to waste your time. I used to be a yes man, saying yes to just about everything. I’m way different now.

Before I show you how to increase your success rate, let me give you some examples

You see…when I began to use this same process I’m about to show you, I was able to speed up my business operations, and product development.

- It used to take me one month to create a product. I now can create a product in less than 4 days.
- It used to take me half a day to write a salesletter; I can do it all in less than 2 hours.
- I can brainstorm a killer six figure product idea in less than 20 minutes.
- I can look at a failing business and in 15 minutes give it ideas that could turn it around and reasons why it is failing.

That is why I spend less than 5 hours per day of actual work. The rest is usually “fun” work. That is why I value my time and spend it wisely.

Also just because you are failing doesn’t mean there is something wrong with you…

Whether it has to do with business, personal life, or anything else. I am about to show you how to increase your success rate. There is NO one size fits all solution, so you need to figure out your strengths and weaknesses.

But how do you do that?

You MUST =>

- Know your strengths and weaknesses (personality type)
- Strengthen your weaknesses and strengths especially if one of your weaknesses is holding you back.

I’ve shown this method to several of my friends; who some of them were able to turn around and succeed faster, get jobs faster, etc.

Take the 4 Question test, Be HONEST. Otherwise it will hurt you in long haul.

Step 2: You will then receive 4 letters. These 4 letters describe you in the Myers Brigg Test.

You have two choices.
- Go to Google and type in the 4 letters and click search.

Step 3: This will tell you your strengths and weaknesses. As well as what careers would work well with you.

Personalities can change and there are many different types of people within each 4 letter personality. But at least this is closer than you probably have gotten before, unless you have done this before.

When you do business with someone or you’re talking with your job interviewer, etc, figure out what personality they fall into so you can speak to them better. Some people are logical, some people feelers, some people use their senses, some people use their guts, some people are very systematic, some people are everywhere. Fortunately God made us in a way that we are very different. So there’s no one size fits all solution.

I study personality types just for fun, to see how I can get along with different types of people. This will help you not only in business, but in all other areas.
