Emotional High — The Failure to your Success

How to know ahead of time if you will Fail…

We are guilty of this and if you haven’t caught onto this just yet, I am about to tell you how you know ahead of time whether you will fail at your business, career, etc, or not.  I can generally look at something, especially a business and tell you if it has percentage of success or not, just by being in this business for so long.

This relates to a large part of life too…

Now I’m not saying that you can guarantee your success, but from my experience in the business world and consulting thousands of businesses, I can tell you from this realm what I have see is the biggest trait for failure.

Drum roll….The Emotional High.  What?  Yes, you heard that right.  The Emotional High.

Not only is this feeling temporary, but it tends to rush things that aren’t meant to be rushed…and in turn by rushing them, the outcomes becomes not what we want them to be… 

If you do something purely because you are happy w/o analyzing why you made your decision, you need to find out whether it’s your emotion speaking or your logical mind.  Or if feel like you can “rush” things through and get what you want…it’s probably your “temporary” emotional high speaking.

I have this problem in other areas of my life, but I’ve been able to control it a lot more…and a lot of it is in your mindset alone.

For example, I see many people getting into online business because they feel like the they can make money fast OR to make matters worse, they need the money fast…So their emotional high is that they want it fast…they want it NOW NOW NOW….I’m sure you’ve heard that before…

Believe it or not, Patience and Perseverance and Faith are the key to success, because with patience you are prepared to wait, with perseverance you are prepared to keep moving forward, and with faith you trust that there is something on the other end and you have a greater calling in life.

P + P + F.

This works in all areas, relationships, business, career, and your goals.

Examples of emotional high:

“I need to make money within 30 days, will your product help me?”
– Now while I could make some money by telling them it quite possibly could happen because I know many people that are doing well, I usually will discourage them because I can quite frankly tell that they are making a decision upon emotional high.  My being in this business is to make sure my customers have a larger percentage of success…so I will flat out tell them to not move forward.

Now if they were to say, “I’d like to learn how to make money, and I know this is a real business, will your product help me?” there is little emotional high in their decision right there.

We all make these mistakes, even I.  I’ve made the mistake of making promises simply because I felt happy, but not following through on them, because I was just excited about the idea at that time, but like I said you can control it.  

So don’t let your emotional high decide for you.  Think through what you are about to do, while you are the opposite of being happy and see if your decision is still the same…because when times are rough, you will be able to get through it…
